Year 7 students have been delving into the fundamentals of colour theory, exploring how artists use colour to create mood, contrast, and harmony in their work.  We began by learning about the colour wheel, primary, secondary, and tertiary colours, and how different hues interact through warm and cool tones.  Students then experimented with colour mixing and created their own colour wheels, testing tints, shades, and complementary colour schemes.
